Automatic reason to be asked to leave The Porch Skeet Range: 

  • Not complying with the Safety Captain and potentially putting everyone, including yourself, at risk at any time while on the premises. 
  • Not following stated rules at the venue or wandering outside the designated areas. 
  • Not respecting the Safety Captain, people around you or the event you are participating in.

*If you are asked to leave the premises, you will not be granted a refund or an opportunity to reschedule. Depending on the severity of the incident, you might be banned from returning to The Porch Skeet Range. We do this to ensure the safest environment for every customer. We want everyone to come out, enjoy themselves and make it home safely. 

What is the minimum age requirement?

Must be 18 years old to be on any deck at the Porch. ID required at check-in.

Porch Rules

No alcohol, tobacco products, or vapes on deck, there is a designated smoking area

Alcohol consumption in the parking lot will result in refusal of service with NO REFUND

Closed toe shoes required for axe throwing

Must be 18 to be on deck-ID Required at check-in

Can I bring my own shotgun?

Yes, you may bring your own shotgun for the Mixer Night package. NOTE: Only 12,16,20,28, and 410 gauge shotguns are allowed on the deck. Ammunition is ONLY provided, by The Porch, for 12 and 20 gauge shotguns.

Can I buy more clays?

Yes, you may buy more clays on-site. Additional ammunition is included.

Is there a shooting only option?

Yes, please select one of our Shoot Only options on our Book Now page.

Can I take unspent shells provided by the Porch home?

No, all shells provided on-site are not permitted to leave the premises. The shells are donated to charity events hosted by The Porch.

Are there multiple shotguns to choose from?

Absolutely, we have both 12 and 20 gauge options.

Will there really be a Safety Captain present throughout the shoot?

Absolutely, every group will get a safety course over how each weapon works, safety protocol while on the range, and an onsite Safety Captain to operate the throwers and monitor the shooting area. The Porch Skeet Range is 100% dedicated to your safety.

Can someone come that does not want to shoot or throw axes?

Yes, please include this information in your reservation. There will be a $75.00 party deck fee (per person) due at check-in. They are welcome to throw axes and hang out with your group on the party deck. If space allows, they can accompany you onto the shooting deck.

Can I bring food or drinks?

No outside food or drinks are permitted. There are drinks for purchase on the premises which include alcohol free mocktails and NA beer, Coke, Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, water and seasonal drinks. Complimentary snacks are also available.

Can I rent the entire venue?

Absolutely! Please contact us by phone or email for a tour of the venue and/or to book your event. We do open on weekdays for private parties.

Weather

The Porch is an outdoor venue. Rain and temperatures below freezing will result in a closure for the night. You will be notified via text message and/or phone call. There will be a full refund on your reservation or the option to rebook for another available night.

What does a night at The Porch look like?

The night starts with check-in, which includes signing a waiver. You will be put into one of two shooting groups. Group one will shoot and then rotate to the party decks while group two shoots their first round. You will rotate onto the shooting deck twice. The party decks include axe throwing, cornhole, table games, music, dancing, complimentary snacks, and NA drinks for purchase.
